Friday, April 26 - In what has shaped up to be a busy day for renewal announcements, today CBS has joined
NBC and
The CW in the renewal news for the 2013-2014 season. For CBS, that show is
Two and a Half Men which joins the
18 series already renewed on the network.
CBS announced the news with a simple tweet from the network's official Twitter account stating that
Two and a Half Men has been renewed for an 11th season. The decision came as stars Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher each signed a new one-year contract to return to the long-running comedy next season. CBS made no official comment regarding the future of co-star Angus T. Jones but speculation is currently high on him making appearances in the forthcoming season as a recurring guest star instead of as a series regular.
CBS bubble still awaiting news on renewal or cancellation include comedy Rules of Engagement and dramas Vegas, CSI: NY, Golden Boy and Criminal Minds.
