Tuesday, May 28 - Oscar winner Melissa Leo (The Fighter) has been cast on FOX's upcoming event series Wayward Pines from M. Night Shyamalan and starring Matt Dillon. She will play Pam, the intense, unpredictable nurse who first takes care of Ethan (Dillon) when he wakes up in the Wayward Pines hospital. But it soon seems Pam may be more interested in harming than healing. Pam and Ethan grow into deadly rivals and her role in the town proves much deeper than it first appears.
ABC Family has given a back order to the upcoming third season of Melissa & Joey, bringing the season up to 20 episodes. Additionally, the network has renewed the Melissa Joan Hart & Joey Lawrence comedy for a 20-episode fourth season, making Melissa & Joey the network's first comedy to reach 100 episodes. The additional Season 3 episodes will air in 2014. "One hundred episodes is a great accomplishment for any series and we are thrilled to give Melissa & Joey the opportunity to achieve this milestone, as they've delivered hundreds and hundreds of laughs over the seasons," said Kate Juergens, EVP, Programming and Development and Chief Creative Officer, ABC Family.
