Saturday, June 29 - Glee star Jayma Mays is set to co-star on CBS' new comedy series The Millers opposite Will Arnett, Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges. She will play Debbie, Nathan's (Arnett) sister whose father Tom (Bridges) moves in with after leaving his wife, Carol (Martindale) after 43 years. She replaces Mary Elizabeth Ellis who played the role in the original pilot. She is also still expected to do a handful of episodes of FOX's Glee next season.
FOX's Glee has promoted recurring players Melissa Benoist (Marley), Jacob Artist (Jake), Becca Tobin (Kitty), Blake Jenner (Ryder) and Alex Newell (Wade "Unique") to series regulars for the upcoming fifth season. The news comes just a day after five actors were downgraded from the regular cast.
