TV News - 'White Collar,' 'Girls,' 'NCIS,' 'Supernatural,' 'Bates Motel,' 'Reign,' 'Tyrant,' 'The Following' & 'The Mentalist'

Tuesday, August 6 - Mark Sheppard (Supernatural) will return to USA's White Collar for a major arc in its fifth season. He originally appeared in the pilot episode as an art forger whom Peter (Tim DeKay) sent to prison - but he's apparently back for more.

HBO has confirmed that Felicity Jones (Like Crazy) will appear on the third season of Girls - after one of the comedy's directors Jesse  Peretz tweeted that she would guest on an upcoming episode. However, no details about her character were made available.

Leslie Hope (24, Revolution) has booked a guest spot on CBS' NCIS. She will play Sarah Porter, a high-level Navy official who shakes up the world of NCIS. She is only set to appear in one episode - the season's second, titled "Past, Present, Future."

Battlestar Galactica and Dollhouse alum Tahmoh Penikett has joined the cast of The CW's Supernatural in a recurring role. He will play Ezekiel, a dignified warrior angel injured during the "Fall." He will first appear in the season nine premiere.

Paloma Kwiatkowski (Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters) has booked a recurring role on the second season of A&E's Bates Motel. She will play Cody Brennan, a small town party girl who befriends Norman (Freddie Highmore) and bonds with him, showing him how having fun and "acting out" can sublimate pain - at least for awhile.

Manolo Cardona (Covert Affairs) will recur on The CW's new drama series Reign. He will play Tomas, the dashing Prince of Portugal, who is playful and seemingly grounded though he may have a sinister, sadistic and completely amoral soul.

Weeds alum Justin Kirk has been tapped for a co-starring role on the FX drama pilot Tyrant. He will play John Tucker, a sexy, decadent and mysterious American diplomat with a hidden agenda. Additionally, Sibylla Deen has joined the pilot as Nusrat, the young bride of Ahmad.

Sam Underwood (Dexter, Homeland) is joining FOX's The Following as a new series regular for season two. He will play Luke, a very complicated and dangerous young man who may have been a follower of Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) - or not.

Amanda Righetti and Owain Yeoman are poised to exit CBS' The Mentalist toward the end of its upcoming sixth season. They play colleagues and frequent-lovers Van Pelt and Rigsby.
