CBS' Criminal Minds; The CW's The Flash; FOX's 24: Live Another Day, Enlisted & Raising Hope; and TBS' Living the Dream & Tribeca.
CBS' CRIMINAL MINDS
- Battlestar Galactica vet Tahmoh Penikett will appear in the 200th episode of the crime procedural - which airs February 5. He will play Michael Hastings, someone with whom JJ (AJ Cook) worked with during her year away at the State Department - aka her disappearance during Season 6.
TBS' LIVING THE DREAM (PILOT)
- Jake Sandvig (Easy A) has been cast in the leading role on this new multi-camera project. He will play Connor Logan, a charismatic 20-something who, along with his best friends, reinvigorates a town on the verge of losing its identity by acquiring and re-opening the local brewery. Sandvig also toplines the Bryan Fuller drama pilot High Moon at Syfy - which still remains in contention for a series order.
THE CW's THE FLASH (PILOT)
- Law & Order alum Jesse L. Martin - also known for his leading role in Rent - has joined the cast of the Arrow spinoff centered around Grant Gustin's Barry Allen character. Martin will play Detective West, an honest, blue-collar cop who took Barry in after his mother's slaying and father's imprisonment. He believes in Barry and supports his efforts to prove his father's innocence.
FOX's ENLISTED / RAISING HOPE
- FOX is moving its critically acclaimed new comedy series Enlisted to Friday nights at 9/8c. in an attempt to improve the struggling series ratings. The move gives the show a much stronger lead-in with Bones. Raising Hope will now finish its season at Fridays at 9:30/8:30c. The move will take effect immediately.
FOX's 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY
- Hostages star Tate Donovan is joining the cast of the 24 update as the new husband of a long-running character. When the story picks back up on May 5, it will be revealed that his character, White House Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau, is married to the First Daughter - aka Audrey Raines (Kim Raver). Boudreau is described as astute and a strong-willed political advisor.
TBS' TRIBECA (PILOT)
- Departing Parks & Recreation cast member Rashida Jones - who has sold six projects via her Le Train Train production banner with Will McCormack this development season - has landed the lead role on this single camera project from Steve and Nancy Carell. She will play Angie Tribeca, an outspoken 10-year veteran of the LAPD's elite RHCU (Really Heinous Crimes Unit). A lone wolf, Angie is not thrilled when told she has to start working with a partner.
