NETFLIX's UNTITLED KESSLER, ZELMAN & KESSLER DRAMA
- Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises) will co-star opposite Kyle Chandler in this 13-episode psychological family thriller from the trio behind FX/DirecTV's Damages. He will play Danny, the black sheep of the family and the total opposite of John (Chandler) - the actual caretaker of the family.
ABC's MODERN FAMILY
- Hello Ladies star/creator Stephen Merchant has landed a guest role on the comedy's upcoming trip to Las Vegas. He will play Stevens, the officious Mandalay Bay hotel butler assigned to take care of the entire Pritchett-Dunphy care. He appears calm and confident, but while juggling the requests of all three families - he may soon completely lose it.
ABC's ROOKIE BLUE
- Oliver Becker and Matt Murray are joining the cast of the Canadian-produced cop drama as it starts up production on its fifth season. Becker will play Inspector John Jarvis, who intends to shake things up at 15 Division. Murray will play Duncan Moore, a new rookie cop.
CBS' THE MENTALIST
- Pedro Pascal (Graceland, Game of Thrones) has landed a recurring role on the procedural's sixth season. First appear in Episode 16, he will play FBI Special Agent Marcus Pike, a charming man with integrity who soon sweeps Lisbon (Robin Tunney) off her feet. He will appear in at least five episodes.
HBO's OPEN (PILOT)
- Jaimie Alexander (Thor) has joined the Ryan Murphy drama pilot as a new series regular. She will play Claire, the postpartum-suffering, pill-popping Stepford wife of Evan (Wes Bentley).
- Lina Esco (LOL) has also joined the cast of the premium cable pilot. She will play Gina, a smoking hot and extremely ambitious employee at Jonathan's (Scott Speedman) sports management agency, who he is having an affair with.
NBC's UNTITLED BILL COSBY PROJECT (SCRIPT COMMITMENT)
- NBC is getting back in business with legendary comedian Bill Cosby - whose former sitcom The Cosby Show brought groundbreaking ratings for NBC three decades ago - with a deal for a half-hour family comedy in which Cosby will star. Like his former sitcom, Cosby has partnered with Marcy Carsey's Tom Werner to executive produce. The new comedy will be built around Cosby, who will play the patriarch of a multi-generation family and will channel his take on marriage and parenting. The comedy is actively searching for a writer, which has put the project on the off-season development track.
FOX's GRACEPOINT
- Madalyn Horcher has been cast on the 10-hour event series as a series regular. She will play Chloe Lasseter, the smart and sassy daughter of Mark (Michael Peña) and Beth (Virginia Kull), who is hit hard by her brother Danny's death.
