DIRECTV's NAVY ST.
- Nick Jonas (Smash) and Kiele Sanchez (The Glades) have joined the cast of the upcoming drama series starring Frank Grillo. Jonas will play Nate Henderson, Alvey's (Grillo) youngest son and the prized fighter at the gym. Sanchez will play Lisa Prince, Alvey's long-time girlfriend.
NBC's LAW & ORDER: SVU
- Alec Baldwin is returning to NBC with a guest role on the long-running procedural - in his first scripted role since 30 Rock ended a year ago. No details were released about his role on the drama - except that he will appear in star Mariska Hargitary's directorial debut episode later this spring.
ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME
- The fairytale drama is going full-on Wizard of Oz by adding Sunny Mabrey (Memphis Beat, The Client List) as Glinda the Good Witch of the South. Her Glinda is described as elegant, warm and benevolent as well as wise, clever and shrewd. However, years of isolation have made her lonely and cautious but steadfast with optimism.
USA's DIG
- Awake star Jason Isaacs - who is currently filming NBC's Rosemary's Baby miniseries - has landed the lead role on USA's upcoming six-episode event series, which will film in Jerusalem. He will play Peter, an FBI agent stationed in Jerusalem who, while investigating a murder of a woman archeologist, uncovers a conspiracy 2000 years in the making that threatens to change the course of history.
FOX's BACKSTROM
- Genevieve Angelson (House of Lies) is set as the female lead opposite Rainn Wilson on the upcoming drama series. She will play Detective Nicole Gravely, Backstrom's (Wilson) second in command who is tasked with not only keeping the unit together in the face of Backstrom's self-destructive behavior but ensuring that his unorthodox methods hold up in court. She replaces Mamie Gummer who played the role in the original CBS pilot, which is the only cast change expected in the series' transition to FOX.
NBC's PARKS AND RECREATION
- Rob Huebel (Childrens Hospital, Transparent) will guest star on a March episode of the NBC comedy. He will play the unlikable owner of a tent store that Ben (Adam Scott) and Tom (Aziz Ansari) can't seem to escape when they try to rent one.
WGN AMERICA's MANHATTAN
- Christopher Denham (Argo, Shutter Island) has been cast on the upcoming drama series starring John Benjamin Hickey. He will play Jim Meeks, a physics prodigy recruited to join the top-secret Manhattan Project and work under Frank Winter (Hickey).
