NBC's ODYSSEY
- Spoiler alert in case you haven't seen last night's episode of The Originals yet. The NBC drama pilot from Adam Armus, Kay Foster and Peter Horton has added Daniella Pineda as a series regular - after her character Sophie was killed off The CW drama last night. She will play Molly, a reporter for Time magazine who becomes a love interest for a leading protester against the G8 summit (Jake Robinson).
NBC's MASON TWINS
- Erinn Hayes (Childrens Hospital, Guys with Kids) will co-star on the NBC comedy pilot written by June Diane Raphael and Casey Wilson. Additionally, Raphael has formally signed on to play the other leading role on the project. Mason Twins tells the story of two fraternal estranged twin sisters who couldn't be more different. Pender (Raphael) is stuck in the 80s and has never made anything of her life. She is reunited with her sister Lizzie (Hayes) who is an intense, successful corporate climber who comes back home after she catches her fiancé cheating and loses her job, both in the same day.
CBS's SCORPION
- Pilot Ordered - Drama
- Inspired by the true story of Walter O'Brien, Scorpion centers on an eccentric genius and his international network of super-geniuses who form the last line of defense against the complex threats of the modern age. The pilot was written by Nick Santora and will be directed by Justin Lin. Executive produces include Santora, Lin, Alex Kurtzman, Bob Orci, Heather Kadin, Scooter Braun. Additionally, Danny Rose and Danielle Woodrow will co-executive produce with Scott Manson and Troy Craig Poon as producers. CBS Television Studios, K/O Paper Products, Perfect Storm Entertainment and SB Productions will produce the pilot.
ABC's MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY
- Jake McDorman (Shameless) has been cast as the male lead on the ABC comedy pilot (formerly Untitled Jeff Lowell Project). The project exposes the unfiltered internal monologues of a young couple (McDorman, Analeigh Tipton) embarking on a new relationship.
THE CW's THE MESSENGERS
- Pilot Ordered - Drama
- Written by Eoghan O'Donnel with Ted Humphrey supervising, The Messengers starts with a mysterious object crashing down to earth. A group of seemingly unconnected strangers die from the energy pulse, but then awaken to learn that they have been deemed responsible for preventing the impending Apocalypse. O'Donnell will co-executive produce with Basil Iwanyk, Humphrey, Kent Kubena and Ava Jamshidi as executive producers. CBS Television Studios, Thunder Road Television and Industry Entertainment will produce.
TNT's AGENT X
- John Shea (Gossip Girl, The Good Wife) has joined the cast of the action drama pilot led by Sharon Stone. He will play President Eckhart, a Southern politician and a "salt of the earth" man who gives Natalie (Stone) the key to her new mansion and introduces her to Malcolm MIller, and later chairs the emergency Cabinet meeting after Missy Stanton is kidnapped.
ABC's CLEMENTINE
- David Strathairn (Alphas) is the first actor to be cast on the drama pilot from Dean Georgaris. He will play Henry Ross, Clementine's father whose current wealthy and refined status beguiles the decades he previously spent as a gambler, hustler and charlatan.
TNT's PUBLIC MORALS
- Brian Wiles (Person of Interest) has joined the cast of the Ed Burns written, directing and starring drama pilot set in 1967. No details were immediately released on what character he will be playing on the project.
SYFY's DMZ

- Former Mad Men executive producers/writers Andre and Maria Jacquemetton have teamed with Oscar-nominated producer David Heyman for a drama series based on the DC comic book series DMZ created by Brian Wood and Riccardo Burchielli. Written by the Jacquemettons, DMZ is set in the near future and centers on a young man trapped in Manhattan, which has been turned into a demilitarized zone (DMZ) after a second American civil war. The project hails from Warner Horizon Television, Slim Chance Productions and Heyday Films. The Jacquemettons and Heyman will executive produce alongside Jeffrey Clifford.
COMEDY CENTRAL's LEGENDS

- From Bento Box Entertainment, Legends is described as an urban animated comedy centering on a trio of high school basketball players who are legends in their own minds - and really, nowhere else. Freshmen benchwarmers and friends Jamal, Grover and Milk try and mostly fail to make an impression at Bluford High, whether it's on the court or with the ladies. The project was created and developed by Brad Adelson, Mike Clements, Quinn Hawking, Josiah Johnson and writer Michael Starburry who will also executive produce with Scott Greenberg, Mark McJimsey and Joel Kuwahara. Additionally, Hawking will voice Jamal and Johnson will voice Grover and Milk.
