This evening NBC has announced renewals for dramas Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Grimm while officially picking up comedy Parks and Recreation for a seventh season. They join previously picked up series The Voice, The Blacklist, The Biggest Loser and The Celebrity Apprentice.
In the 2014-2015 season, Chicago Fire will air its third season, Grimm will return for its fourth while Chicago P.D. will debut its second season - which likely is a full season order of 22 episodes (as opposed to the 15 for the first season).
In the press release the network sent out, Parks and Recreation Season 7 was listed among the previously announced renewals - though, technically, that came from network head Robert Greenblatt loosely greenlighting it during January's TCA press tour. This is the first confirmation that the season is in fact happening.
