ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.; AMC's Hell on Wheels; BET's Being Mary Jane; FOX's New Girl; Netflix's Untitled KZK Drama; Syfy's Defiance; and USA's Suits.
AMC's HELL ON WHEELS
- Singer/actress MacKenzie Porter has been cast as a series regular on the drama for its fourth season. She will play Naomi, Cullen's (Anson Mount) wife and mother of his child who is torn between the restrictive Mormon way of life and the exotic adventure promised by life with her gentile husband outside the Mormon fort.
BET's BEING MARY JANE
- Salli Richardson-Whitfield (The Lottery, The Newsroom) has landed a recurring role on the drama's second season. She will appear in at least five episodes as a longtime friend of Mary Jane's (Gabrielle Union).
FOX's NEW GIRL
- Oscar Nuñez (The Office) and Kerri Kenney (Reno 911!) will guest star on the third season finale of the comedy which will be set on a cruise ship. Nuñez will play a ship employee who makes Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.) totally lose it. Kenney will play the ship's captain who tries to help mend the relationship between Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel).
NETFLIX's UNTITLED KZK DRAMA
- Mia Kirshner (24, Defiance) and Waleed Zuaiter (Homeland, Revolution) have booked recurring roles on the upcoming drama. Zuaiter will play Major Eckhardt, a mysterious authority figure in the Florida Keys who is having an affair with Meg (Linda Cardellini). No details were immediately released about Kirshner's character.
SYFY's DEFIANCE
- Linda Hamilton (Beauty and the Beast, Lost Girl) will guest star on the drama's upcoming second season. She will play Pilar McCawley, the estranged wife of Rafe (Graham Greene).
USA's SUITS
- Family Ties patriarch Michael Gross has landed a major recurring role on the fourth season of the drama. He will play Walter Gillis, the down-to-earth founder of a groundbreaking DVD distribution company who finds himself fending off takeover bids while he tries to keep his business solvent.
ABC's MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
- The drama is kicking off its May sweeps run with a return appearance by Cobie Smulders - reprising her role of Agent Maria Hill from The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier as well as the drama's pilot. Her episode will air on Tuesday, April 29.
