TV LAND's IMPASTOR
- The cable network has given a cast-contingent pilot order to Impastor, a single camera comedy from veteran writer Christopher Vane (Good Luck Charlie). It centers on a low-life on the run from his debts who hides away in a small town b conning them into thinking he's their newly hired gay pastor. Vane executive produces alongside Eric and Kim Tannenbaum. CBS Television Studios and The Tannenbaum Company will produce.
CBS' CUZ-BROS
- The comedy pilot has added yet another actor from a comedy series on-the-bubble. Cougar Town co-star Ian Gomez has joined the pilot in 2nd position to the TBS comedy. He will play Phil, Nick's (Geoff Stults) boss at the TV station.
ABC FAMILY's STITCHERS
- The cable network has ordered a pilot for drama Stitchers written by Jeffrey A. Schechter (Overruled). It follows a young woman recruited into a covert government agency to be "stitched" into the minds of the recently deceased, using their memories to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave. Schechter executive produces alongside Jonathan Baruch and Rob Wolken.
