CINEMAX's THE KNICK
- The cable network will launch the ten-episode first season of the new original drama series starring Clive Owen and directed by Steven Soderbergh on Friday, August 8 at 10/9c. Set in downtown New York in 1900, The Knick centers on Knickerbocker Hospital and the groundbreaking surgeons, nurses and staff, who push the bounds of medicine in a time of astonishingly high mortality rates and zero antibiotics. The cast also includes Andre Holland, Eve Hewson, Jeremy Bobb, Juliet Rylance, Michael Angarano, Chris Sullivan, Cara Seymour, Eric Johnson, David Fierro, Maya Kazan, Grainger Hines and Leon Addison Brown.

- Co-star Michael Weatherly has finalized a new deal to continue on the most-watched drama series for another two seasons. The deal means that the entire current cast of NCIS will return this fall for Season 12.
