HISTORY's TEXAS RISING
- Johnathon Schaech (Ray Donovan) has joined the cast of the miniseries starring Bill Paxton. He will play Colonel Sherman, the blustering Kentucky aristocrat who thinks Sam Houston (Paxton) is a disastrous commander and challenges his orders at every opportunity.
FOX's SLEEPY HOLLOW
- After only doing 13 episodes for its first season, the supernatural drama's second season - which has already started production - will run between 15 and 18 episodes that will run consecutively without interruption.
TNT's LEGENDS
- The cable network has moved up the premiere date for the new drama series starring Sean Bean, by one week, to Wednesday, August 13 at 9/8c.
THE CW's THE ORIGINALS
- Teen Wolf alum Daniel Sharman is joining the drama's upcoming second season in a major recurring role. He will play Kaleb, a charming witch who has a dark family history and a bit of a temper.
FOX's MULANEY
- The broadcast network has ordered 10 more episodes of the upcoming comedy series created by and starring John Mulaney - bringing the first season's total up to 16 episodes. Production on the original order had begun in March and FOX executives were very pleased with the results - leading to the expanded order.
