HBO's UNTITLED TERENCE WINTER, GEORGE MASTRAS & MARTIN SCORSESE PROJECT
- Ray Romano (Men of a Certain Age, Parenthood) has been cast on the untitled drama pilot starring Bobby Cannavale. He will play Zak Yankovich, the close confidante and right-hand man to Richie (Cannavale). He's the tough and sharp-witted head of promotions of American Century with decades of experience dating back to the dark, mob-infested days of the recording business.
MTV's UNTITLED ANDY ST. CLAIR & PAUL O'TOOLE PROJECT
- MTV has given a cast-contingent pilot to an untitled comedy project from young writers Andy St. Clair and Paul O'Toole. The pilot revolves around 22-year-old Andy, who after he catches his girlfriend cheating, accidentally rear-ends a celebrity. Taking pity on Andy, the celebrity takes it upon himself to teach him how to man up. St. Clair and O'Toole will co-executive produce with Odenkirk Provissiero's Marc Provissiero on board as executive producer.
ABC FAMILY's UNSTRUNG
- Newcomers Chanel Celaya and Sofia Mattsson have joined the cast of the drama pilot from writer Emily Whitesell. Celaya will play Ellie, an athletic, spunky beauty with great talent but not-so-great discipline who tends to romance other players and mouth off during interviews. Mattsson will play Ninotchka Andropov, a diva ranked 3rd in the world who is also caught in a love triangle with Ellie's brother Luke and her manager/mobster's son.
