Casting News - Rosario Dawson Books Female Lead on 'Daredevil'; 'Game of Thrones' Vet Joins 'Aquarius'; Plus 4 More Updates!

FOX's The Simpsons; History's Sons of Liberty; NBC's Aquarius; Netflix's Daredevil; and USA's Royal Pains & Satisfaction.





USA's SATISFACTION
  • Michael Vartan (Alias, Bates Motel) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama series. He will play Dylan, a daring photographer who helps Grace (Stephanie Szostak) gain exposure in the design world.
FOX's THE SIMPSONS
  • Will Forte - star of FOX's upcoming comedy Last Man on Earth - will lend his voice to a November episode of the hit animated comedy. He will voice the eponymous - and never-before-seen - owner of King Toot's Music Store.
NETFLIX's DAREDEVIL
  • Rosario Dawson (Sin City, Rent) has joined the cast of the upcoming drama series in a top-secret role. Marvel did not release any details on who she'll be playing. Executive producer Jeph Loeb, however, did offer this tease: "Her role in the series is absolutely critical to Matt Murdock's journey to become the hero we know as Daredevil."
NBC's AQUARIUS
  • Gethin Anthony (Game of Thrones), Grey Damon (Star-Crossed) and Emma Dumont (Bunheads) have been cast on the upcoming miniseries starring David Duchovny. Anthony will play Charles Manson, described here as the "archetypal Authentic Hippie Freak whose intense charisma draws young followers to him in droves." Damon will play Hodiak's (Duchovny) well-matched new partner. Dumont will play Emma Karn, a follower of Manson's whose father had a history with the cult leader.
USA's ROYAL PAINS
  • Broadway star Cheyenne Jackson will guest star on the August 5 episode of the drama series. He will play Sam, the owner of a perfumery in the Hamptons who starts to lose his sense of smell.
HISTORY's SONS OF LIBERTY
  • Jason O'Mara (Terra Nova, Complications) has landed a major role on the upcoming miniseries. He will play George Washington, a famous commander-in-chief of the Continental Army who later became America's first president.
