- Naveen Andrews, Daryl Hannah, Brian J. Smith, Tuppence Middleton, Aml Ameen, Freema Agyeman, Tena Desae, Doona Bae, Max Riemelt, Alfronso Herrera, Erendira Ibarra, Jamie Clayton, Miguel Silvestri and Terrence Mann have been cast on the upcoming drama series created by the Wachowskis and J. Michael Straczynski. The series follows eight characters (Smith, Middleton, Ameen, Bae, Silvestri, Desae, Riemelt, Clayton) around the world who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, find themselves linked to each other mentally and emotionally. They can not only see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, they have access to each other's deepest secrets. Not only must they figure out what happened and why and what it means for the future of humanity, they must do so while being hunted by an organization out to capture, kill or vivisect them.
BBC AMERICA'S INTRUDERS
- The new drama series created by Glen Morgan and starring John Simm, Mira Sorvino, James Frain, Tory Kittles and Mille Brown will premiere on Saturday, August 23 at 10/9c.
A&E's THE RETURNED
- Michelle Forbes (Orphan Black) and Carl Lumbly (Alias) have joined the cast of the upcoming drama series starring Mark Pellegrino and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Forbes will play Helen Goddard, a mysterious woman who is one of the returnees. Lumbly will play Pastor Leon Wright, the local pastor who gently speaks with Rowan (Winstead) and tries to guide her through difficult times.
ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY
- Caterina Scorsone - who reprised her Private Practice role of Amelia Shepherd at the end of Season 10 - has been promoted to series regular for the long-running medical soap's upcoming 11th season.
