Casting News - Constance Zimmer Joins 'Un-Real'; 'Homeland' Adds Corey Stoll & Laila Robins; Plus 2 More Updates!

A&E's The Returned; Lifetime's Un-Real; Showtime's Homeland; and USA's Benched.





A&E's THE RETURNED
  • Kevin Alejandro (Arrow), Sophie Lowe (Once Upon a Time in Wonderland) and Mat Vairo (Revolution) have been cast on the drama series as series regulars. Alejandro will play Tommy Moran, the town's authoritative but accessible Sheriff. Lowe will play Lena, one of Jack's (Mark Pellegrino) two daughters. Vairo will play Simon, a musician who comes back 10 years after his death.
LIFETIME's UN-REAL
  • Constance Zimmer (House of Cards, Entourage) has been tapped to replace Megyn Price on the upcoming drama series. She will play the dispassionate executive producer of the unscripted series at the center of the show. 
USA's BENCHED
  • Molly Shannon (Saturday Night Live), Chris Parnell (Suburgatory) and Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) will guest star on the comedy's upcoming first season. Shannon will play Judge Conner, a sexy, mature judge who walks the line between flirtatious and predatory. Parnell will play Mitch, a glad-handing public defender from Pasadena who consistently schmoozes his way to Los Angeles Defender of the Year. Brown will play Donna, a head clerk in the courthouse who is a stickler for bureaucratic rules and regulations.
SHOWTIME's HOMELAND
  • Corey Stoll (The Strain) and Laila Robins (Bored to Death) have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming fourth season. Robins will play the series regular role of Martha Boyd, the U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, who is professional and put together. Stoll will recur as Sandy Bachman, the CIA Chief of Station in Pakistan and a rising star in the agency's firmament.
