SYFY's ASCENSION
- Cougar Town star Brian Van Holt has landed a starring role on the upcoming limited series. He will play William Denniger, the ship's captain who is a natural leader, a military man and politician who also has a tortured marriage with Viondra (Tricia Helfer).
DIRECTV's NAVY ST.
- Brandon Barash (General Hospital) has booked a guest spot on the new drama series. He will play Eric, a condescending Los Angeles charlatan who becomes enraged when Lisa (Kiele Sanchez) rejects his advances.
SYFY's THE ALMIGHTY JOHNSONS
- Syfy will premiere Season 1 of the acquired New Zealand dramedy on Friday, July 11 at 10/9c. The first season consists of 10 episodes.
