AMC's Galyntine; Showtime's Roadies and TV Land's Impastor.
SHOWTIME's ROADIES
- The premium cable network has handed out a pilot order to the single camera comedy project written, directed and executive produced by Cameron Crowe. Winnie Holzman, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk will also serve as executive producers, with Holzman sets as showrunner. Bad Robot's Kathy Lingg will co-executive produce. Warner Bros. Television will produce. The project follows the day-to-day life of a successful rock tour as seen through the eyes of the crew members who help get the show on the road.
TV LAND's IMPASTOR
- Smallville alum Michael Rosenbaum has been cast in the lead role on the single camera comedy pilot - effectively lifting the cast contingency order. The project centers on a lowlife (Rosenbaum) on the run from his debts who hides away in a small town by conning its residents into thinking he's their newly hired gay pastor.
AMC's GALYNTINE
- Tony nominee Charlotte D'Ambroise (A Chorus Line) has joined the cast of the drama pilot starring Catherine Dent and Peter Fonda. She will play Micah, a former healer and now the colony's unofficial historian.
