Casting News - Ben Kingsley to Co-Star on 'Tut'; 'House of Cards' Alum Joins 'The Whispers'; Plus 5 More Updates!

ABC's The Whispers; Bravo's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce; CBS' Elementary & Madam Secretary; DirecTV's Kingdom; NBC's Constantine; and Spike's Tut.




NBC's CONSTANTINE
  • Telemundo star Angélica Celaya has been cast on the upcoming drama series - as a replacement of sorts for departing star Lucy Griffiths. She will play Zed, a psychic who already has powers when she first encounters Constantine (Matt Ryan) and is able to hold her own opposite him.
CBS' MADAM SECRETARY
  • Wallis Currie-Wood (The Intern) has joined the cast of the new drama in a recurring role. She will play Stephanie "Stevie" McCord, Elizabeth's (Tea Leoni) eldest daughter who is strong-willed and rebellious. Upset with a new college procedure, she has dropped out and moved back home to figure out her next move. She will debut in Episode 2.
CBS' ELEMENTARY
  • Raza Jaffrey (Smash, Homeland) has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. He will play Andrew, Joan's (Lucy Liu) new boyfriend, the anti-Sherlock who is normal and polite.
SPIKE's TUT
  • Oscar winner Ben Kingsley (Gandhi) has been tapped for a starring role on the upcoming event series. He will play Ay, the Grand Vizier to King Tutankhamun, who wields tremendous power and influence as the top advisor to the young Egyptian ruler.
DIRECTV's KINGDOM
  • Cynthia Stevenson (Men in Trees), M.C. Gainey (Lost) and Bryan Callen (In Plain Sight) have joined the upcoming series in recurring roles. Stevenson and Gainey will play Marilyn and Rick, the parents of Ryan Wheeler (Matt Lauria). Callen will play Garo, a fight promoter who is a little "street" but also a savvy businessman.
ABC's THE WHISPERS
  • House of Cards vet Kristen Connolly has been tapped to replace Brianna Brown on the midseason drama series. She will play Lena, Wes' (Barry Sloane) wife.
BRAVO's GIRLFRIENDS' GUIDE TO DIVORCE
  • The cable network will launch its first ever scripted drama on Tuesday, December 2 at 10/9c. The series stars Lisa Edelstein, Janeane Garofalo, Beau Garrett, Necar Zadegan, Paul Adelstein, Patrick Heusinger, J. August Richards, C. Thomas Howell, Julianna Guill, Michael Weaver and Charles Mesure.
