Casting News - July 3, 2014
ABC's Once Upon a Time; The CW's Arrow; and FOX's Gotham.
FOX's GOTHAM
- Carol Kane (Taxi) and Kyle Massey (Cory in the House) have joined the upcoming drama series in recurring roles. Kane will play Gertrud Kapelput, the mother of Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), who is a proud and faded beauty with delusions of grandeur. Massey will play Macky, a neglected and abused kid who lives on the streets of Gotham. Both will debut in the drama's second episode.
ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME
- Georgina Haig (Fringe, Reckless) has joined the drama in a major recurring role for its fourth season playing Frozen's Queen Elsa of Arendelle. On the drama's version of the character, Elsa has long struggled to control her "chilling" powers but has been able to keep them in check through her love for younger sister Anna (Elizabeth Lail).
THE CW's ARROW
- Karl Yune (Real Steel, Speed Racer) has landed a recurring role on the drama's third season. He will play Maseo Yamashiro, a skilled martial artist who is married to Katana (Devon Aoki) and flashback Oliver's (Stephen Amell) new handler, teacher, friend and advisor.
- Additionally, Peter Stormare (Prison Break, The Blacklist) will guest star in the Season 3 premiere. He will play Werner Zytle, the new supplier of the drug Vertigo following the death of The Count (Seth Gabel) last season.
