HBO's THE BRINK
- Carla Gugino (Wayward Pines) has been cast in a multi-episode arc on the upcoming comedy starring Jack Black and Tim Robbins. She will play Joanne Larson, a Washington super lawyer in her prime and a formidable match to her husband, U.S. Secretary of State Walter Hollander (Robbins).
THE CW's THE ORIGINALS
- Colin Woodell (Devious Maids) will recur on the second season of the hit drama. He will play Aiden, a lieutenant in New Orleans' leading werewolf pack who isn't opposed to teaming up with witches if they can help him take down vampires and keep his family safe.
BRAVO's GIRLFRIENDS' GUIDE TO DIVORCE
- Alanna Ubach (Hung) is joining the cast of the new drama series as a series regular. Also cast on the drama today - but in recurring roles - are Matthew Glave (Army Wives) and Virginia Williams (Fairly Legal). Ubach will play Jo, a blunt, brassy New Yorker and Abby's (Lisa Edelstein) best friend from college who comes to LA to help her through her divorce. Glave and Williams will play Gordon and Courtney Beech, a high-profile fashion couple currently going through a divorce handled by Delia (Necar Zadegan).
HBO's GIRLS
- Jake Lacy (The Office, Better With You) will recur on the upcoming fourth season of the hit comedy. No details of his character were immediately released.
HISTORY's TEXAS RISING
- History's upcoming eight-hour miniseries Texas Rising will premiere on Memorial Day 2015 - aka May 25. The all-star cast includes Bill Paxton, Brendan Fraser, Ray Liotta, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Olivier Martinez, Thomas Jane, Crispin Clover, Rhys Coiro, Jeremy Davies, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Christopher McDonald, Max Thieriot, Chad Michael Murray, Robert Knepper, Jeff Fahey, Rob Morrow and Kris Kristofferson.
ABC's NASHVILLE
- Five time Dancing with the Stars winner Derek Hough will transition to acting with a major recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. He will play Noah West, a beguiling and disarming movie star who comes to Nashville and the music scene when he's tapped for a leading role in the biopic of a famous country singer.
