HBO's SHOW ME A HERO
- Winona Ryder (Black Swan), Alfred Molina (Matador) and Jon Bernthal (The Walkind Dead) have been cast on the miniseries starring Oscar Isaac and Catherine Keener. Ryder will play Vinni Restiano, the Yonkers councilwoman and confidante to Nick (Isaac), who lost her seat after her housing vote, only to stage a comeback four years later and wins as City Council president. Molina will play Councilman Henry "Hank" Spallone, a tough-talking ex-NYPD detective from the Bronx who became the demagogic voice of the housing opponents. Bernthal will play Michael H. Sussman, a hard-driving Harvard-trained lawyer who represented the NAACP when it joined the government's anti-segregation case against Yonkers.
THE CW's THE FLASH
- Star-Crossed alum Greg Finley will return to The CW in a two-episode arc on the fall drama. He will play Tony Woodward - aka Girder - who following the explosion at STAR Labs has the ability to transform his skin into living metal. He also happens to be the bully who used to torment Barry (Grant Gustin) when they were kids.
THE CW's iZOMBIE
- Molly Hagan (Unfabulous) has been tapped to replace Nora Dunn in the recurring role of Eva Moore, Liv's (Rose McIver) mother, on the midseason drama. Additionally, Judy Reyes (Devious Maids) will guest star in an upcoming episode as an artsy woman who becomes the prime suspect in her husband's murder.
ABC's SELFIE
- Brian Huskey (Veep, Neighbors) has booked a recurring role on the fall comedy starring Karen Gillan and John Cho. He will play Larry, a clueless lab technician at a children's pharmaceutical company, who has a real, unrequited fondness of Henry (Cho).
ABC's MEMBERS ONLY
- Rebecca Forsythe (Rake, CSI) will recur on the upcoming drama starring Natalie Zea and Betsy Brandt. She will play Eve, a gorgeous, smart and privileged yet sensible teen born into wealth and privilege.
SYFY's THE EXPANSE
- Steven Strait (Magic City) and Shohreh Aghdashloo (House of Saddam) have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Thomas Jane. Strait will play Holden, an officer on the ice-carrying freighter The Canterbury. Holden is a natural leader who's not sure he wants responsibility, but who will soon have no choice when he is drawn into a dangerous plot. Aghdashloo will play Chrisjen Avasarala, a smart and passionate member of a political family legacy who has risen high in the ranks of Earth's governing body without once standing for election.
SPIKE's TUT
- Peter Gadiot, Nonso Anozie, Alexander Siddig and Iddo Goldberg have joined the cast of the upcoming miniseries starring Avan Jogia. Gadiot will play Ka, Tut's (Jogia) close confidant and seemingly loyal friend from childhood, who harbors a secret love for Tut's wife (Sibylla Deen). Anozie will play General Horemheb, the savvy military, yet power hungry, strategist. Siddig will play High Priest Amun, a major political figure who holds great influence in Tut's inner sanctum. Goldberg will play Lagus, an Egyptian soldier who develops a special bond with Tut.
CBS' HAWAII FIVE-0
- Singer Frankie Valli will appear in the November 21 episode of the hit procedural. He will play Leonard Campbell, Aunt Deb's (Carol Burnett) fiancé who she met in chemotherapy. They head to Hawaii to get wedded but McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) has some reservations about Leonard's past.
FOX's GLEE
- Max Adler will reprise his role as Dave Karofsky (who recurred throughout the first three seasons) in at least four episodes of the series' final season. Details of his return are being kept under wraps but he may cause trouble for Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss).
ABC's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
- Brian Patrick Wade (Teen Wolf) has been cast as villain Carl "Crusher" Creel, aka the Absorbing Man, on the second season of the hit drama. Creel has the ability to absorb the properties of anything he touches and will serve as a foil for Coulson (Clark Gregg) and company.
