Casting News - Geoff Stults Joins 'Grace and Frankie' & 'The Odd Couple'; 'The Mindy Project' Adds Niecy Nash; Plus 5 More Updates!

ABC's Selfie; CBS' The Millers & The Odd Couple; FOX's The Mindy Project; NBC's The Blacklist & State of Affairs; and Netflix's Grace and Frankie & Orange Is the New Black.




NBC's THE BLACKLIST
  • Paul Reubens will appear in a two-episode arc on the hit drama's second season. Debuting in the third episode, he will play Mr. Vargas, a dapper, finicky "muscle guy" who handles delicate situations in the criminal underworld.
NETFLIX's ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK
  • Lori Petty is returning to the prison dramedy for its upcoming third season. She previously appeared in the second season premiere as Lolly, a fellow inmate that Piper (Taylor Schilling) meets on a transport plane. Details on how she'll return are being kept under wraps.
NETFLIX's GRACE AND FRANKIE
  • Geoff Stults (Enlisted), Joe Morton (Scandal) and Barry Bostwick (Spin City) will appear on the upcoming comedy starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. Stults will recur as Mitch, Mallory's (Brooklyn Decker) husband of seven years, an OBGYN and father of two who is trying his best to juggle his husband/father and doctor duties. Morton will play Jason, one of Frankie (Tomlin) and Sol's (Sam Waterston) oldest friends who helps Frankie navigate the world of divorce and helps Sol be comfortable being "out." Bostwick will play Bill, one of Grace (Fonda) and Robert's (Martin Sheen) friend's who is also newly divorced and knows exactly what Grace is going through.
CBS' THE ODD COUPLE
  • Geoff Stults is also set to recur on the midseason comedy starring Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon. He will play Murph, an ex-baseball player whose career was cut short by an injury. He's a sturdy Midwesterner with an easygoing charm and loves hanging out with Oscar (Perry) as he figures out what to do next in life.
CBS' THE MILLERS
  • Billy Eichner (Parks and Recreation) and Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords) will guest star on the second season of the comedy. Eichner will play the ex-husband of Kip (Sean Hayes), who has had a long-standing crush on Nathan (Will Arnett). Darby will play the author of a Game of Thrones-type book series who has gone from being Nathan's nerdy classmate to rich and famous.
FOX's THE MINDY PROJECT
  • The comedy has added Niecy Nash (Getting On, The Soul Man) to the third season as a new rival to Mindy (Mindy Kaling). She will play Dr. Jean Fishman, a tough Bostonian physician who is the new chief of Shulman & Associates' admitting hospital.
NBC's STATE OF AFFAIRS
  • Courtney B. Vance (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) and James Remar (Dexter) have booked recurring roles on the upcoming drama. Vance will play First Gentleman Marshall Payton, a Stanford Law graduate working as a pro bone counsel for advocacy groups. Remar will play Syd, a former CIA agent whose assistance is often called upon by Charlie (Katherine Heigh) and he obliges because of his loyalty to her grandfather.
ABC's SELFIE
  • Jennifer Hasty (True Blood) has landed a multi-episode arc on the fall comedy. She will play Joan, Eliza's (Karen Gillan) punishing co-worker at the children's pharmaceutical company whom Eliza tries to be friends with.
