FOX's NEW GIRL
- Alan Ritchson (Smallville, Blue Mountain State) will guest star on an upcoming episode of the comedy's fourth season. He will play a good looking guy Jess (Zooey Deschanel) meets at the bar who is a little challenged in the bedroom.
CBS' THE DOVEKEEPERS
- Finding Carter star Kathryn Prescott has been tapped for a lead role on the miniseries starring Cote de Pablo and Rachel Brosnahan. She will play Aziza, a stunning teenage tomboy and expert archer who disguises herself in her brother's armor to skillfully fight alongside the male warriors of Masada, even fooling lover Amram (Diego Boneta).
NBC's CHICAGO P.D.
- Markie Post (Night Court) will appear in a multi-episode arc on the drama's second season. She will play Bunny, Erin's (Sophia Bush) estranged mother, a bartender in a dive bar who's looking to reconnect now that she's in a new relationship.
ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME
- True Blood alum Kristin Bauer van Straten will reprise her role as the villainous Maleficent in the second half of the drama's upcoming fourth season. She will be back for multiple episodes. It's unclear if she'll be the big bad for the 2015 episodes after the Frozen arc is completed this fall. But it does seem likely.
AMAZON's TRANSPARENT
- Amazon will premiere all ten episodes of its highly-anticipated dark comedy Transparent on Friday, September 26 exclusively on Prime Instant Video in the US and UK. The series was created by Jill Soloway and stars Jeffrey Tambor, Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker and Jay Duplass. Recurring guest stars include Bradley Whitford, Carrie Brownstein, Kathryn Hahn, Melora Hardin, Alexandra Billings and Rob Huebel.
