DirecTV has renewed its flagship drama series Rogue for a third and fourth season, to be comprised of 10 episodes each and set to air on the Audience Network in Spring 2015 and 2016 respectively.
The drama was created by Matthew Parkhill (The Caller) and stars Thandie Newton as an undercover detective working for the San Jose Police Department in Season 1 and a special FBI task force in Season 2. Newton and co-star Cole Hauser are the only cast members confirmed to be returning for the third season. Entertainment One and Greenroom Entertainment produce.
"Viewers enthusiastically tuned into season two and we look forward to sharing exciting new chapters in the lives of these richly drawn characters," said Chris Long, Senior VP Original Content and Production, DirecTV.
"It's an incredible achievement to have an additional 20 episodes greenlit which are already confirmed on the broadcast schedule for the next two years. This speaks to the talent involved in the show and all of our team's commitment to producing high-quality, compelling entertainment," added John Morayniss, CEO of eOne Television.
