SHOWTIME's SHAMELESS, HOUSE OF LIES and EPISODES
- The premium cable network has set Sunday, January 11 premiere dates for the three series - with Shameless at 9/8c., House of Lies at 10/9c. and Episodes at 10:30/9:30c.
ABC's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
- White Collar star Tim DeKay will guest star on an upcoming episode of the drama's second season. He will play Senator Maynard Ward, the older brother of Grant Ward (Brett Dalton).
YAHOO's COMMUNITY
- Yvette Nicole Brown will not return for the comedy's upcoming sixth season when it transitions from NBC to Yahoo Screen. She asked to be released from her contract, and Sony granted her request. "My dad needs daily care and he needs me," Brown told TVGuide.com. "The idea of being away 16 hours a day for five months, I couldn't do it. It was a difficult decision for me to make, but I had to choose my dad."
ABC's MISTRESSES
- On the heels of its third season renewal, leading lady Alyssa Milano has decided to exit the primetime summer soap. In a statement, she explains, "After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot Season 3 of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons. It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first, and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away. I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best."
