MTV's SHANNARA
- Poppy Drayton (When Calls the Heart) has been cast in the lead role on the upcoming drama series. She will play Amberle, an Elven Princess who is agile, fit and capable. She has become the first female to be accepted as one of the Chosen, the special group of Elves responsible for the protection and care of the ancient Ellcrys tree. But unlike the rest of the Chosen, Amberle's dangerous and heroic journey is just beginning.
NBC's THE BLACKLIST
- Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy, Hand of God) has signed on to play the villain in the drama's upcoming post-Super Bowl episode. He will play Luther Braxton, a meticulous thief who plans his international heists over the course of several months or years. The ruthless man creates great diversions and chaos to get what he wants. He will also have a memorable meeting with Red (James Spader).
LIFETIME's THE LIZZIE BORDEN CHRONICLES
- Jessy Schram (Veronica Mars) and Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad) have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Christina Ricci. Schram will play Nancy O'Keefe, an alluring and ambitious actress and dancer who befriends Lizzie (Ricci) following one of her performances. Banks will play Mr. Flowers, Lizzie's business associate, a crime kingpin who manages the prostitution and extortion ring in Fall River.
FOX's THE MINDY PROJECT
- Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies, Halt and Catch Fire) will appear on an upcoming episode of the comedy's third season. He will play Alex, a nerdy college student-turned-millionaire who also happens to be Mindy's (Mindy Kaling) first sexual partner ever.
- Additionally, the broadcast network has ordered six additional episodes for the current third season, bringing its total to 21 episodes.
CBS' THE MILLERS
- Episodes star Kathleen Rose Perkins has landed a guest-starring role on the comedy's second second. She will play Miss Sparks, a teacher at a very progressive elementary school that Nathan's (Will Arnett) nice is applying to. He tries to date her to help his nice, but Miss Sparks can only seem to talk to Nathan in the same way she talks to her young students.
NBC's MARRY ME
- Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) has been cast on an upcoming episode of the comedy's first season. She will play Pam, a former friend of the Kevins (Dan Bucatinsky and Tim Meadows) and Annie's (Casey Wilson) biological mother.
ABC's REVENGE
- Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy) has booked a major recurring role on the drama's fourth season. Debuting in Episode 11, he will play Malcolm Black, a high-functioning psychopath with a long memory for those who have crossed him. Self-made, cold and calculating, he is relentless when it comes to protecting his family and his fortune.
