CBS' The McCarthys; FX's The Strain; and TNT's The Last Ship.
FX's THE STRAIN
- Samantha Mathis (Under the Dome) has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. She will play Justine Feraldo, a no-nonsense City Councilwoman for Staten Island who manages to use her cadre of hardcore cops to cleanse Staten Island of vampires.
TNT's THE LAST SHIP
- Inbar Lavi (Gang Related) will appear in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She will play Ravit Bivas, a well-trained Israeli soldier who also has the ability to go undercover.
CBS' THE McCARTHYS
- How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan is returning to CBS for a guest appearance in the comedy's December 18 episode. She will play Pam, Marjorie (Laurie Metcalf) and Arthur's (Jack McGee) upstairs tenant who is sweet, but fresh from a break-up and broken-hearted. In order to cheer her up, Marjorie invites Pam to join the family for Christmas Eve, however, Pam is shocked by how the family treats each other during their very competitive annual gift exchange.
