SYFY's CHILDHOOD'S END
- Mike Vogel (Under the Dome, Bates Motel) has been tapped as the lead on the upcoming miniseries. He will play Ricky Stormgren, a midwestern farmer whose life is turned upside down when he is chosen to be the sole representative on Earth for an alien species apparently seeking to aide humanity. Ricky will struggle with his new-found fame as a blue collar prophet, facing the weight of the entire world looking to him for answers.
THE CW's JANE THE VIRGIN
- Cheech Marin (Nash Bridges) will guest star on an upcoming episode of the hit telenovela. He will play Edward, a love interest for Alba (Ivonne Coll) whom she meets in physical therapy.
SYFY's HAVEN
- William Shatner (Star Trek) will appear in a four episode arc next year on the hit drama's fifth season. He will play a pivotal character that has the potential to forever impact the fate of the town of Haven and its troubled residents.
OWN's THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS and LOVE THY NEIGHBOR
- The cable network has set return dates for two of its Tyler Perry series - with The Haves and the Have Nots returning Tuesday, January 6 at 9/8c. and Love Thy Neighbor on Wednesday, January 7 at 9/8c.
FOX's THE MINDY PROJECT
- Adam Pally is departing the comedy as a series regular after the 13th episode of the current third season. He joined the cast at the start of the second season as Dr. Peter Prentice. He may continue to make guest appearances.
