NBC's MR. ROBINSON
- Spencer Grammer (Greek) and Lenora Crichlow (A to Z) have joined the upcoming comedy as series regulars. Grammer will play Ashleigh Willows, the math teacher who moonlights as an exotic dancer to help pay off her mortgage and allow her to travel during her summer breaks. Crichlow will play Victoria Wavers, a Wall Street trader-turned-high school English teacher who Craig (Craig Robinson) had a crush on during high school.
BBC AMERICA's THE LAST KINGDOM
- Rutger Hauer, Matthew Macfadyen, David Dawson, Emil Cox, Ian Hart, Tobias Santelmann, Thomas W. Gabrielsson, Peter Gantzler, Joseph Millson, Alexandre Willaume, Rune Temte and Henning Valin Jakobsen will round out the ensemble cast of the upcoming drama.
SHOWTIME's HOUSE OF LIES
- Steven Weber (NCIS: New Orleans, Chasing Life, Murder in the First) will guest star in one episode of the dramedy's upcoming fourth season. He will play Ray Montinola, a turnaround specialist who is called to help Kaan & Associates when Marty's (Don Cheadle) incarceration leaves the firm in shambles.
SUNDANCETV's BABYLON
- The six-part drama, a co-production with Nightjack Ltd and Channel 4, will debut on Thursday, January 8 at 10/9c. Created by Danny Boyle, Robert Jones, Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong, the ensemble cast includes Brit Marling, James Nesbitt, Bertie Carvel, Paterson Joseph, Nicola Walker, Adam Deacon, Jill Halfpenny, Johnny Sweet, Ella Smith, Andrew Brooke, Nick Blood and Daniel Kaluuya.
HBO's TRUE DETECTIVE
- HBO has finally confirmed that Rachel McAdams, Taylor Kitsch and Kelly Reilly will co-star on the upcoming second season of the anthology series. McAdams will play Ani Bezzerides, a Ventura County Sheriff's detective whose uncompromising ethics put her at odds with others and the system she serves. Kitsch will play Paul Woodrugh, a war veteran and motorcycle officer for the California Highway Patrol, running from a difficult past and the sudden glare of a scandal that never happened. Reilly will play Jordan, Frank Semyon's (Vince Vaughn) wife, a former D-list actress who is a full partner in his enterprises and ambitions.
AMC's BADLANDS
- Emily Beecham (28 Weeks Later), Sarah Bolger (Once Upon a Time) and Oliver Stark (My Hero) have been cast on the upcoming drama. Additionally, David Dobkin has signed on to direct and executive produce. Beecham will play The Widow, a regal beauty and a cunning strategist with extravagant, high fashion taste who has gained power by spilling blood. Bolger will play Jade, a porcelain beauty who masks her ambition with fragile innocence. Stark will play Ryer, the warrior's son who has not lived up to his father's expectations.
