Development News - December 17, 2014

TBS' Quality Time and TNT's Lumen.

TNT's LUMEN
  • Neil Jackson (Sleepy Hollow) has been cast on the drama pilot starring Sam Jaeger and Wynn Everett. He will play Prince Dai of Lumen, who's also the long lost husband and father of the family. Stunned to see his wife and son in Lumen, Dai explains how he came to be on Earth and why he left them, unwillingly, to go back to Lumen, his home.
TBS' QUALITY TIME
  • The cable network has given a pilot order to comedy Quality Time written by and starring Paul Soter, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme and Erik Stolhanske, members of the Broken Lizard comedy filmmaking group. Also executive producing are Michael Rosenberg, John Morayniss, Steven Amato and Michael Wallen. Turner Original Productions and Entertainment One will produce. Quality Times revolves around four college buddies who kept their sophomoric ways in suspended animation throughout their 20s and are now succumbing to reproduction. It's a nontraditional fatherhood comedy about the constant push and pull between the dudes they used to be and the men they are attempting to be.
