CBS' THE GOOD WIFE
- Gary Cole is officially return to the drama for an arc during its upcoming spring episodes. His character, Kurt McVeigh, was last seen in November 2014 when he tied the knot with Diane (Christine Baranski). His next appearance will be in a March episode.
- Oliver Platt (The Big C, Fargo) has also booked a recurring arc on the hit drama today. He will play R.D., an intelligent, approachable and politically conservative businessman who loves a civilized argument with a worthy opponent and has a passion for hunting.
HBO's VICE PRINCIPALS
- Georgia King (The New Normal) will co-star opposite Danny McBride on the upcoming comedy. She will play Ms. Amanda Snodgrass, the new English teacher at Lincoln High who is idealistic and fair-minded, with glimmers of a wild side.
NETFLIX's WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER
- Chris Pine (Star Trek), Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Kristen Wiig (Saturday Night Live) and Jason Schwartzman (Bored to Death) have joined the ensemble cast of the upcoming limited series in guest/recurring roles. Pine's character is only being described as "mysterious." Hamm will play a secret spy. Wiig will play a snobby counselor at Camp Tigerclaw. Schwartzman will play the boy's camp head counselor.
NBC's THE SLAP
- Blythe Danner has booked a guest starring role on the upcoming miniseries. She will play Virginia, Anouk's (Uma Thurman) mother, a celebrated psychiatrist and psychoanalyst capable of extraordinary wise and utter thoughtlessness within the same sentence. She and her daughter are very close because Anouk has found a way of treating her mother as a friend, rather than a parent, which has great cost attached to it.
FX's FARGO
- Battlestar Galactica alum Michael Hogan has joined the cast of the anthology drama's upcoming second season in a recurring role. He will play Otto Gerhardt, a wheelchair-bound criminal kingpin.
CBS' MOM
- David Krumholtz (Numb3rs, The Good Wife) will appear in a March episode of the comedy's second season. He will play Gregory Munchnik, a 42-year-old college professor who Violet (Sadie Calvano) starts dating, much to Christy's (Anna Faris) dismay.
NETFLIX's A.K.A. JESSICA JONES
- Rachael Taylor (Grey's Anatomy, 666 Park Avenue) has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Krysten Ritter. She will play Patricia "Trish" walker, a syndicated radio talk show host, former model and child TV star known to her adoring fans as "Patsy" Walker. As Jessica Jones' (Ritter) closest friend, Trish helps her embark on the most dangerous case of Jessica's career.
CBS' MIKE & MOLLY
- Kathy Bates will reprise her role as Kay McKinnon on an upcoming episode of the comedy's fifth season. Kay is a globe-trotting, worldly photographer and Peggy's (Rondi Reed) best friend from high school who hit if off with Molly (Melissa McCarthy).
