NBC's GAME OF SILENCE
- David Lyons (Revolution, ER) has been cast in the lead role on the drama pilot written by David Hudgins. He will play Jackson, a rising attorney on the brink of success who could lose his perfectly crafted life when his long-lost childhood friends threaten to expose a dark secret from their violent past.
ABC's DR. KEN
- Trophy Wife star Albert Tsai has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Ken Jeong. He will play the son of Dr. Ken (Jeong).
USA's STANISTAN
- USA has passed on the drama pilot written by Andy Parker and starring Jennifer Carpenter. Universal Cable Productions produced, with Parker and Scheffer as executive producers. The project follows the staff at the American compound in the Middle Eastern country of Stanistan, where State Department workers, covert CIA officers and journalists strike a delicate balance between danger and levity. Zach Gilford and Jonathan Cake co-starred.
ABC's THE KING OF 7B
- David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada) has been tapped to direct the comedy pilot written by Howard Franklin - which has opted to be shot single camera after being undetermined when the pilot was first ordered. Ben Karlin has also joined the pilot as showrunner and executive producer.
FOX's UNTITLED DANA KLEIN PROJECT
- Matt Letscher (Scandal, The Carrie Diaries) will co-star opposite Jenna Elfman on the comedy pilot. He will play Ellen's (Elfman) husband, an intelligent, responsible professor of ethics with a very strong sense of right and wrong who plans ahead and over-thinks everything.
NBC's LOVE IS A FOUR LETTER WORD
- Cynthia McWilliams (Real Husbands of Hollywood) has joined the cast of the drama pilot written by Diana Son. She will play Tandi, one half of a happy couple with a young son who is experiencing difficulties fulfilling her dream of having another child.
HBO's DIVORCE
- Flight of the Conchords co-creator/star Jemaine Clement is returning to the network for a role on the comedy pilot starring Sarah Jessica Parker. He will play Julian, Frances' (Parker) close friend, a literature professor who lives in Manhattan.
ABC's FAMILY FORTUNE
- Annie Potts (GCB) and John Carroll Lynch (American Horror Story: Freak Show) will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Fortune Feimster. Potts will play Fortune's (Feimster) fun-loving, needy and sometimes egoistical mother. Lynch will play Fortune's taciturn and tough father.
NBC's UNTITLED SUZANNE MARTIN PROJECT
- Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly, Drake & Josh) has been cast on the comedy pilot written by Suzanne Martin. She will play Shea, the youngest daughter of the family, a woman who's slightly socially awkward and who has a doctorate in astrophysics and wants to be an astronaut.
ABC's KINGMAKERS
- Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie (Matador) have signed on as executive producers and showrunners on the drama pilot written by Sallie Patrick.
