ABC's Flesh and Blood, Untitled Judah Miller & Untitled NBA; CBS' For Justice, Life in PiecesSuper Clyde & Supergirl; and NBC's People Are Talking, Strange Calls, Untitled Suzanne Martin & Unveiled.




CBS' SUPER CLYDE
  • Diane Guerrero (Orange Is the New Black, Jane the Virgin) has been cast on the comedy pilot starring Charlie McDermott. She will play Maddy, Clyde's (McDermott) very cute, smart and ambitious friend.
ABC's FLESH AND BLOOD
  • Joan Allen, Margot Bingham and Florianna Lima have landed regular roles on the drama pilot written by Jenna Bans. Allen will play Claire, a politician who is devastated to learn of the horrors her son (Liam James) has endured but is still a political animal and seems to have a plan to use her son's return to further her political ambitions. Bingham will play Nina, a police sergeant with the Red Pines Police Department in Northern California, who's highly regarded within the department but not always liked. Lima will play a young reporter with the local paper.
NBC's UNTITLED SUZANNE MARTIN PROJECT
  • Veteran character actor Stacy Keach has been cast on the comedy pilot written by Suzanne Martin. He will play Bob, the former military father who moves back in.
NBC's PEOPLE ARE TALKING
  • Brooke Ishibashi has joined the cast of the comedy pilot written by DJ Nash. She will play half of one of the main couples, a wife who aptly balances being a loving mom and a tough-as-nails attorney.
CBS' LIFE IN PIECES
  • Emmy winner James Brolin (Marcus Welby, M.D.) will co-star on the comedy pilot written by Justin Adler. He will play John Short, the gregarious patriarch of the family who's going through a bit of a crisis as he turns 70.
ABC's UNTITLED NBA PROJECT
  • Former college basketball player Blondy Baruti has booked the co-lead role opposite Skylar Astin on the comedy pilot. Also cast on the pilot is Laura Steinel (Draft Day). He will play Mo, an NBA rookie who came from humble beginnings, and what little English he knows he learned from watching Fantasy Island reruns on the one TV in his small village. Steinel will play the intense assistant trainer for the NBA team that recruits Mo.
ABC's UNTITLED JUDAH MILLER PROJECT
  • Smash alum Megan Hilty has booked the female lead on the comedy pilot written by Judah Miller. She will play Irene, a laud, flamboyant diva, a Tony-winning Broadway star who is adjusting to her latest "role" as a suburban mom and who can come off a little self-involved but has a big heart of gold.
CBS' SUPERGIRL
  • Chyler Leigh (Grey's Anatomy) and David Harewood (Homeland) have been cast on the drama pilot starring Melissa Benoist. Leigh will play Alexandra "Alex" Danvers, Kara's (Benoist) confident foster sister who developed a lifelong obsession with science and eventually became a doctor. Harewood will play Hank Henshaw, a onetime CIA agent who now runs the Department of Extra-Normal Operations, which tracks extraterrestrial threats to the planet.
CBS' FOR JUSTICE
  • Phylicia Rashad (The Cosby Show) has joined the cast of the drama pilot written by Rene Balcer. She will play FBI Agent Georgina Howe, a savvy Washington, D.C. power player who has faced discrimination for her race and sexual orientation, and fights to protect the independence and integrity of her high-profile Civil Rights Division.
NBC's STRANGE CALLS
  • Community co-star Danny Pudi has been tapped to play the lead role on the comedy pilot written by Blake McCormick. He will play Toby, an affable but down on his luck young police officer. He is transferred to a rural town where - with the help of a peculiar, elderly night watchman - he starts to realize the town has a bizarre supernatural underbelly.
NBC's UNVEILED
  • Will Kemp (Petals in the Wind) and Connie Nielsen (The Following) have been cast on the drama pilot written by John Sakmar & Kerry Lenhart. Kemp will play Lucas, a handsome, mysterious fallen angel with a suave charm and devilish side intent on corrupting as many humans as he can. Nielsen will play Joan, the by-the-book boss who leads the Guardian Angels from beyond the veil, the plane of existence outside of the human world.
