ABC's THE ADVOCATE
- Veteran director Michael M. Robin has been tapped to helm the pilot for the drama written by Sheldon Turner. He previously did the pilots for TNT's The Closer, Major Crimes and Dallas.
ABC's L.A. CRIME
- Tom Shankland will direct the pilot for the period anthology drama from writer Steven Baigelman. Most recently, he directed all eight episodes of Starz's The Missing.
ABC's BROAD SQUAD
- Coky Giedroyc has been tapped to direct the pilot for the period drama from writer Bess Wohl. She most recently directed the pilot for BBC's The Hour as well as two episodes of Showtime's Penny Dreadful.
CBS' LIFE IN PIECES
- Emmy nominee Colin Hanks (Fargo) has been cast on the comedy pilot from writer Justin Adler. He will play Greg, the coddled youngest of three siblings who finds himself overwhelmed and unprepared for the birth of his first child.
