HULU's CASUAL
- Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under) and Nyasha Hatendi (The Ghost) have joined the cast of the upcoming comedy starring Tommy Dewey and Michaela Watkins. Conroy will play Dawn, Alex (Dewey) and Valerie's (Watkins) mother, an austere and emotionally calculating woman who can manipulate her children into feeling any way she wants. Hatendi will play Leon, a newly single man looking for true love who is Valerie's first one-night stand and subsequently becomes close friends with Alex.
FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL
- After appearing in six episodes of the Asylum season, Chloë Sevigny has booked her return to the horror anthology series as a series regular for the upcoming Hotel installment. No details were made immediately available about her character.
STARZ's BLACK SAILS
- Ray Stevenson (Rome, Thor) has booked a major recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. He will play Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard, who returns to the island to settle some unfinished business, but a great deal has changed during his absence, and he will have to disrupt cemented alliances and challenge new ones to achieve the impossible.
