Development News - Ever Carradine & Karen Gillan Join 'The Devil You Know'; 'For Justice' Adds Rachel Boston; Plus 5 More Updates!

ABC's The Brainy Bunch; CBS' For Justice; FOX's Grandpa, Lucifer & Studio City; HBO's The Devil You Know; and NBC's Heart Matters.





FOX's LUCIFER
  • Nicholas Gonzalez (Sleepy Hollow), D.B. Woodside (24) and Rachael Harris (Surviving Jack) have been cast on the drama pilot starring Tom Ellis. Gonzalez will play Dan, a gruff LAPD homicide detective who is wary of Lucifer's (Ellis) involvement with his wife and daughter. Woodside will play Amenadiel, an angel sent to Los Angeles to persuade Lucifer to return to Hell. Harris will play Linda, a therapist Lucifer initially encounters on a case and then later seeks out her professional advice.
FOX's STUDIO CITY
  • Samantha Logan, Jordan Calloway and Timothy Granaderos have joined the cast of the dramedy pilot written by Krista Vernoff. Logan will play Emma, Rob's (Eric McCormack) daughter and Cat's (Florence Pugh) half-sister. Calloway will play Griffin, a local skateboarder who connects with Cat upon her arrival. Granaderos will play Mateo, Stevie's (Heather Graham) son, an accomplished graffiti artist who isn't afraid to go to juvie for his art.
FOX's GRANDPA
  • Kelly Jenrette (Frisky Dingo) has booked a regular role on the comedy pilot starring John Stamos. She will play Annalise, the assistant manager at Jimmy's (Stamos) restaurant.
ABC's THE BRAINY BUNCH
  • Majandra Delfino (Roswell) is set as the female lead opposite James Roday and Melanie Griffith on the comedy pilot. She will play Mona Lisa Mitchell, a teacher with a Ph.D in literature who believes that everyone on Earth is born with a special gift. Zoe Colletti, Spencer Tomich and Harrison Holzer have also been cast as three of Mona Lisa and Kip's (Roday) children.
HBO's THE DEVIL YOU KNOW
  • Ever Carradine, Damien Molony, Julian Rhind Tutt, Matthew James Thomas, Nigel Lindsay, Ewen Bremner, Karen Gillan, Hannah Nordberg, Naian Gonzalez Norvind and Zawe Ashton will round out the regular cast of the drama pilot. Carradine will play Ann Putnam Sr., Thomas' (Eddie Izzard) wife, who is sickly but strong among her peers. Molony will play Robert Putnam, Thomas' eldest son. Tutt will play Minister Samuel Parris, a hard-line Puritan, who isn't very popular until the accusations start. Thomas will play Henry Paine, a newcomer from England. Lindsay will play Dr. Griggs, a man of science and reason. Bremner will play Israel Porter, patriarch of the powerful Porter clan. Gillan will play Jane Porter, Israel's youngest daughter. Nordberg will play Betty Parris, Samuel's daughter. Norvind will play Samuel's niece. Ashton will play Samuel's slave brought from Barbados. Additionally, Will Pullen, Kate Nash and Seana Kofoed have been cast in recurring roles.
NBC's HEART MATTERS
  • Jamie Kennedy (Ghost Whisperer) has been cast on the drama pilot starring Melissa George. He will play Dr. Callahan, a great surgeon despite his obnoxious manner.
CBS' FOR JUSTICE
  • Witches of East End alum Rachel Boston will co-star on the drama pilot starring Anika Noni Rose. She will play Lisa, everyone's favorite kid sister and another Department of Justice lawyer with Nat's (Rose) team.
