CBS' CODE BLACK
- Marcia Gay Harden, originally cast in the supporting role of Christa, will now play the lead, Leanne, on the drama pilot written by Michael Seitzman, with Bonnie Somerville (NYPD Blue) set to replace Harden as Christa. Leanne is described as the residency director in the E.R., who is a force of nature and a force to be reckoned with. Christa is a former soccer mom whose son died of cancer, is a newly minted, talented and dedicated doctor whose experience handling her son's disease, coupled with her intuition and life experience, makes her see things that often escape her younger fellow residents.
ABC's RUNNER
- Chris Johnson, Megan Dodds and Matthew LeNevez have been cast on the drama pilot starring Paula Patton. Johnson will play Josh, a handsome and artistic architect and Lauren's (Patton) business partner. Dodds will play Emily, Simon's (Brent Sexton) wife. LeNevez will play Adam, a pediatric surgeon.
FOX's FANTASY LIFE
- Chaz Lamar Shepherd (7th Heaven) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Kevin Connolly. He will play MC2, a pro football player and one of the analysts for Mitch's (Connolly) Fox Fantasy Football show.
CBS' THE HALF OF IT
- Morgan Krantz (Switched at Birth) has booked a regular role on the comedy pilot starring Jon Dore. He will play Trevor, Mike's (Dore) Bohemian hipster neighbor.
ABC's THE KING OF 7B
- Marin Hinkle (Two and a Half Men, Madam Secretary) will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Craig Ferguson. She will play Charlotte, Prentiss' (Ferguson) sister, a PETA zealot who eschews beauty products and wears only natural fabrics.
CBS' RUSH HOUR
- Justin Hires (Key & Peele, 21 Jump Street) has been tapped to play the co-lead role on the series adaptation of the successful film franchise. He will play Carter, an irreverent and wildly confident bad-boy detective with the LAPD, a maverick who uses unorthodox methods to get things done, often causing the top brass to look the other way.
ABC's UNTITLED JUDAH MILLER PROJECT
- Greg Grunberg (Heroes, Alias) is set as the male lead opposite Megan Hilty on the comedy pilot. He will play Gary, a geriatric doctor and a risk-averse, cerebral, cautious and practical father and husband.
NBC's SUPERSTORE
- Ben Feldman (A to Z, Mad Men) has been cast in the lead role on the comedy pilot written by Justin Spitzer. He will play Jonah, a boyish college grad who's never had a job before and wants a taste of the real world. His unwittingly elitist behavior initially alienates him from his floor manager and co-workers, but his charisma, zest for life and eternal optimism is contagious and endears him to his fellow staffers.
ABC's THE KINGMAKERS
- Newcomer Gus Halper has landed the lead role on the drama pilot written by Sallie Patrick. He will play Eli, a young man whose sister is found dead during her freshman year at an elite Ivy League university. He adopts a new identity to infiltrate the school and its century-old secret society in order to investigate her death.
