AMC's Preacher; NBC's Sharing; and TBS' Quality Time.
TBS' QUALITY TIME
- TBS has passed on the comedy pilot created by and starring Paul Soter, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme and Erik Stolhanske. The project stars the four as a group of college friends who kept their sophomoric ways in suspended animation throughout their 20s and now are succumbing to reproduction and growing up. Gillian Vigman, Alexie Gilmore and Jessica Meraz co-starred, with Michael Rosenberg, John Morayniss, Steven Amato and Michael Wallen also executive producing.
NBC's SHARING
- Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad) has been cast on the comedy pilot written by Jeremy Bronson. He will play Grant, an eager-to-please and confident office receptionist who tries hard and wants everyone to like him, but isn't that competent.
AMC's PREACHER
- Joseph Gilgun (Misfits) has joined the cast of the drama pilot written by Sam Catlin. He will play Cassidy, an Irish vampire and Jesse's sidekick, the most wild-ass, bestest "bro" you'd ever want to meet. He may be 100 years dead but no one's more boisterously alive than Poinsias Cassidy. An incorrigible mischief-maker, Cassidy's up for anything - joyriding, bungee-jumping, bank-robbing, peyote dropping. He's also a relentless conversationalist with opinions on everything from religion to politics to pop culture to theories on why people are better able to tolerate the odor of their own flatulence.
