ABC's The King of 7B; FOX's Detour; and TNT's Untitled Michelle Ashford.
TNT's UNTITLED MICHELLE ASHFORD PROJECT
- The cable network has passed on the period drama pilot written by Michelle Ashford. However, the network liked the setting of the piece and will retool the project with the hopes of shooting a new pilot. Despite being busy working on the third season of Showtime's Masters of Sex, Ashford will likely remain with the project throughout this redevelopment as its writer. Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer serve as executive producers. The cast for the pilot included Michael Stahl-David, Elizabeth Perkins, Christopher McDonald, Kristen Hager, Kelsey Siepser, Adria Arjona, Oscar Jaenada, Matt Barr and Dan Buran. If a second pilot is ordered, it's unclear if any of the original cast will return.
ABC's THE KING OF 7B
- Ione Skye (Say Anything) has been cast as a guest star on the comedy pilot starring Craig Ferguson. She will play a woman moving into the apartment across the street from Prentiss (Ferguson) who he spots and believes could be his soul mate.
FOX's DETOUR
- Alice Lee (Rising Star, Heathers) will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Ben Aldridge. She will play Annika, the R.A. on Michael's (Aldridge) dorm floor.
