CBS' SUPER CLYDE
- Annaleigh Ashford has been cast on the comedy pilot starring Charlie McDermott - in second position to her current job on Showtime's Masters of Sex. She will play Britney, the high school sweetheart of Clyde's (McDermott) older brother Duke who dumped him once she found out he would not be inheriting his uncle's fortune. Now, Duke is pulling out all the stops to win her back.
CBS' THE HALF OF IT
- David Del Rio (Pitch Perfect) has joined the cast of the comedy pilot written by Mike Gibbons. He will play Geoffrey, a hipster with a strong sense of "melting pot of styles" fashion, who frequently operates without a filter and fancies himself a "giver."
NBC's NOT SAFE FOR WORK
- Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live) has booked a regular role on the comedy pilot written by Aseem Batra. No details on the role were immediately made available - but the potential series liked Oteri enough after the table read to make the role a regular character and not just a guest/recurring star as was originally envisioned.
