- Weeds alum Elizabeth Perkins has been cast on the drama pilot starring Dominic Cooper. She will play Vyla Quinncannon, a genteel but formidable businesswoman who owns the local slaughterhouse in Annville. Ambitious, strong-willed and terrifying, Vyla shares a past with Jesse's father which gives her a singular hold over Jesse.
CBS' UNTITLED DAN O'SHANNON & PETER WARREN PROJECT
- The Mysteries of Laura co-star Janina Gavankar has been tapped to replace Noureen DeWulf - who was only cast a few days ago - on the comedy pilot following the table read. She has been cast as a guest star, as it's unclear if The Mysteries of Laura will return for a second season. She will play Sabrina, Andrew's (Adam Brody) co-worker and good friend at 25, and his even closer friend at 40.
