HBO's UNTITLED WHITNEY CUMMINGS PROJECT
- HBO has given a pilot order to an untitled single camera comedy created by and starring Whitney Cummings. Executive producers are Cummings, Tom Werner, Jimmy Miller and Maureen Dowd. Inspired by New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd's 2005 book Are Men Necessary? When Sexes Collide, the project is a comedic portrait of modern relationships that focuses on human nature and social construction using documentary elements and appearances from experts to help the characters understand the biological basis of their behavior.
