AMAZON's HIGHSTON
- Amazon has given a pilot order to single camera comedy Highston written by Oscar nominee Bob Nelson (Nebraska) and to be directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris. Nelson, Dayton and Faris executive produce with Sacha Baron Cohen, Todd Schulman, Todd Hoffman and Bob Friedman. Amazon Studios, Four By Two Films and Bungalow Media+Entertainment will produce. The project centers on Highston Liggetts, a kind 19-year-old perched on the edge of adulthood. When he encounters a world he doesn't understand, he retreats into his vast imagination where famous "friends" are his companions and mentors.
