USA Cancels 'Sirens' After 2 Seasons

This afternoon USA has decided to cancel paramedic comedy series Sirens after two seasons. The series aired its last episode on Tuesday, April 14.

Created by Denis Leary and Bob Fisher, Sirens followed the work lives of three Chicago EMT paramedics with the Eminent Ambulance Company and the unusual - often crude or humorous - situations and people in need of their assistance.

The cast included Michael Mosley, Kevin Daniels, Kevin Bigley, Jessica McNamee, Josh Segarra and Bill Nunn.

Executive producers were Leary, Fisher, Jim Serpico, David Aukin, David Leach, Hal Vogel, Tom Sellitti, Erik Durbin and Josh Lieb. Fox 21 Television Studios, Apostle Productions and Daybreak Pictures produced.

Sirens' cancellation continues USA's current trajectory of focusing on developing a more drama-heavy lineup.
