ABC Gives Series Orders to 'The Catch,' 'Dr. Ken,' 'The Family,' 'The Muppets,' 'Of Kings and Prophets,' 'Quantico,' 'The Real O'Neals,' 'Untitled Pate/Fishburne' & 'Wicked City'

On the reels of locking down the majority of its schedule, ABC has also given new series orders to three comedies - Dr. Ken, The Muppets and The Real O'Neals - and six dramas - The Catch, The Family, Of Kings and Prophets, Quantico, Untitled Pate/Fishburne & Wicked City.

Here are the series descriptions for all the new series at ABC:

THE CATCH - A new thriller centered on the strong, successful Alice Martin (Mireille Enos). She's a fraud investigator who's about to be the victim of fraud by her fiancĂ©. Between her cases, she is determined to find him before it ruins her career.

The drama also stars Alimi Ballard, Damon Dayoub, Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Bethany Joy Lenz, Rose Rollins and Elvy Yost.

Jennifer Schuur wrote the pilot, and executive produces with Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers and director Julie Anne Robinson. ABC Studios and Shondaland produce.

DR. KEN - Doctor turned actor/comedian Ken Jeong (Community, The Hangover) plays Dr. Ken, a brilliant physician with no bedside manner. He is always trying to be a good doctor, as well as a good husband and dad to his two kids. However, these good intentions have a way of driving everyone crazy at both work and at home. Luckily, his therapist wife Allison (Suzy Nakamura) is just the right partner to keep things sane.

The cast also includes Dave Foley, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Jonathan Slavin, Albert Tsai and Krista Marie Yu.

Jeong, Jared Stern and Mike O'Connell wrote the pilot. Jeong and Stern also executive produce with John Davis, John Fox and Mike Sikowitz. O'Connell is a co-executive producer. ABC Studios, Sony Pictures Television and Davis Entertainment produce.

THE FAMILY - This thriller follows the return of a politician's young son who was presumed dead after disappearing over a decade earlier. As the mysterious young man is welcomed back into his family, suspicions emerge - is he really who he says he is?

The cast includes Joan Allen, Alison Pill, Margot Bingham, Zach Gilford, Liam James, Floriana Lima, Madeline Arthur, Rarmian Newton, Rupert Graves and Andrew McCarthy.

The pilot was written by Jenna Bans, who executive produces with Todd Lieberman, David Hoberman and Laurie Zaks. ABC Studios and Mandeville Productions produce.

THE MUPPETS - The Muppets return to primetime with a contemporary, documentary-style show that, for the first time ever, will explore the Muppets' personal lives and relationships, both at home and at work, as well as romances, break-ups, achievements, disappointments, wants and desires; a more adult Muppet show, for kids of all ages.

Bill Prady and Bob Kushell created the revival and will serve as writers and executive producers. Randall Einhorn and Bill Barretta are also executive producers. ABC Studios and The Muppets Studio produce.

OF KINGS AND PROPHETS - An epic Biblical saga of faith, ambition and betrayal as told through the eyes of a battle-weary king, a powerful and resentful prophet and a resourceful young shepherd on a collision course with destiny.

The cast includes Ray Winstone, Haaz Sleiman, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Oliver Rix, Simone Kessell, James Floyd, Mohammad Bakri and Tomer Kapon.

The pilot was written by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage, who executive produce with Jason Reed, Reza Aslan and Mahyad Tousi. ABC Studios and BoomGen Studios produce.

QUANTICO - A diverse group of recruits have arrived at the FBI Quantico Base for training. They are the best, the brightest and the most vetted, so it seems impossible that one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11.

The drama stars Priyanka Chopra, Dougray Scott, Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Tate Ellington and Graham Rogers.

Josh Safran wrote the pilot, and executive produces with Mark Gordon and Nick Pepper. ABC Studios and The Mark Gordon Company produce.

THE REAL O'NEALS - A contemporary take on a seemingly perfect Catholic family, whose lives take an unexpected turn when surprising truths are revealed. Instead of ruining their family, the honesty triggers a new, messier chapter where everyone stops pretending to be perfect and actually starts being real.

The comedy stars Martha Plimpton, Jay R. Ferguson, Noah Galvin, Matthew Shively, Bebe Wood and Mary Hollis Inboden.

The pilot was written by David Windsor and Casey Johnson, who executive produce with Brian Pines, Dan McDermott and Dan Savage. ABC Studios, DiBonaventura Pictures and Hypomania Content produce.

UNTITLED PATE & FISHBURNE PROJECT (formerly Boom) - Billy and Cody Lefever dream of a new life beyond their working class roots and move to "The Bakken" in North Dakota, booming after the biggest oil discovery in American history. They're soon pitted against a ruthless tycoon who forces them to bet big and put everything on the line, including their marriage.

The cast includes Don Johnson, Chace Crawford, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Delroy Lindo, Amber Valetta, Scott Michael Foster, India De Beaufort, Yani Gellman and Caitlin Carver.

Josh Pate and Rodes Fishburne wrote the pilot, and executive produce with Johnson, Tony Krantz and Drew Comins. ABC Studios produces.

WICKED CITY - Each season of the anthology drama will follow a different case set in a different noteworthy era of LA history, starting with a murder case from 1982 centered on the rock and roll, cocaine-infused revelry of the Sunset Strip. Alliances are formed between detectives, reporters, drug dealers and club-goers to solve a serial murder case.

The drama stars Adam Rothenberg, Gabriel Luna, Ed Westwick, Taissa Farmiga, Karolina Wydra, Holley Fain, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Anne Winters and Erika Christensen.

The pilot was written by Steven Baigelman, who executive produces with David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks. ABC Studios and Mandeville Productions produce.
