CBS head into the start of upfront week with several veteran programs still technically on the bubble. Some of them were no brainer renewals while others really could have gone either way. This afternoon CBS officially handed out renewals to 9 dramas, 1 comedy, 3 reality shows and two newsmagazines:
The list of shows renewed today for the upcoming 2015-16 includes:
- 48 Hours
- 60 Minutes
- The Amazing Race
- Blue Bloods (Season 6)
- Criminal Minds (Season 11)
- CSI: Cyber (Season 2)
- Elementary (Season 4)
- The Good Wife (Season 7)
- Hawaii Five-0 (Season 6)
- NCIS (Season 13)
- NCIS: Los Angeles (Season 7)
- The Odd Couple (Season 2)
- Person of Interest (Season 5)
- Survivor
- Undercover Boss
These renewed shows join a 2015-16 lineup that also includes new seasons of 2 Broke Girls, The Big Bang Theory, Madam Secretary, Mike & Molly, Mom, NCIS: New Orleans and Scorpion. Additionally, new shows set to debut include Angel From Hell, Code Black, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Life In Pieces, Limitless, Rush Hour and Supergirl.
The only show remaining on the bubble at CBS is long-running procedural CSI - which the network is deciding how much of a final sendoff it should have. The renewal for CSI: Cyber means the franchise will still have a presence on the network though.
