AMAZON's TRIAL
- Amazon has given a pilot order to a new legal drama titled Trial written by David E. Kelley and Jonathan Shapiro. All other details about the project are being kept under wraps.
AMAZON's EDGE
- The streaming serve has also ordered a pilot for drama Edge written by Shane Black and Fred Dekker, with Black also set to direct. The project is based on the Edge books by George Gilman. Barry Josephson and David Greenblatt also serve as executive producers.
AMAZON's THE PATRIOT
- The third pilot order at Amazon today is for comedic thriller/family dramedy The Patriot written by Steve Conrad. The project centers on a father working at the state department and his two sons, a senator and an Iraq war veteran with PTSD who wants to be a folk singer.
AMAZON's THE GOOD GIRLS REVOLT
- Lastly, Amazon has ordered a pilot for 1970s-set drama The Good Girls Revolt written by Dana Calvo. Sony Television Studios and Anonymous Content produce the project, which is set in the offices of Newsweek. Lynda Obst and Jeff Okin are also executive producers.
