ABC's Grey's Anatomy and Netflix's Untitled Duffer Drama.
ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY
- Martin Henderson (Off the Map, The Red Road) has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming twelfth season as a new series regular. No details were immediately made available about the character he will be playing. However, his casting comes as the veteran medical procedural was looking to add a new, attractive, male surgeon to its cast in the wake of Patrick Dempsey's exit.
NETFLIX's UNTITLED DUFFER DRAMA
- Oscar nominee Winona Ryder (The Age of Innocence) has been tapped to topline the upcoming drama series (formerly Montauk) created by Mark and Ross Duffer. Additionally, David Harbour (Manhattan) has also been cast and Karl Gajdusek (Last Resort) has joined as showrunner. Ryder will play Joyce, a working class single mother reeling from the disappearance of her 12-year-old son. In her quest to rescue her son from terrifying forces, she summons a strength she never knew she had. Harbour will play the town's weary and disheveled chief of police tasked with investigating the disappearance.
